A German actress and director, born on January 25, 1876, in Berlin, Germany. Her works include M (1931) and The Blue Angel (1930). She was married to actor Ludwig Roth, and her daughter, Lisl Valetti, also became an actress. Her brother was also the well-known actor Hermann Vallentin. She worked with her first husband Ludwig Roth at the Residenz-Theater in Berlin. She died on December 10, 1937, in Vienna, Austria.
