American actor born on 29 June 1903 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, US. His most notable works include The Twilight Zone (1964), M Squad (1957-1960), Dragnet (1947), and The Double Punch (1942). He married Hazel Bokarney who stayed with him till he died of congestive heart failure on 23 November 1973 in Studio City, California, US.
