American actor born on 19 May 1904 in Gloucester, Massachusetts, US. He made his debut in 1939 and his final appearance in 1977. His most notable works include The Hidden Hand (1942), Dick Tracy's Amazing Adventure (1947), Mr. Ashton Was Indiscreet (1947), and The Twilight Zone (1961-1963). He died on 15 May 1980 in Los Angeles, California, US.
