American actor born on 10 August 1927 in Sneedville, Tennessee, US. He was a member of the band Blue Grass Boys from 1949 to 1954, and later founded his own band named the Sunny Mountain Boys. His most notable works include Frontier Revenge (1948), Ringside (1949), Marshall of Helldorado (1950), and Mark of the Lash (1948). He died of bladder cancer on 14 May 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee, US.
