American actor born Clinton Clarke Hardwicke in Dallas, Texas, US on 14 November 1914. He had a short-live career between 1947 and 1948 in which he appeared in just six films, most notable of which are Song of the Thin Man (1947), Command Decision (1948), and The Romance of Rosy Ridge (1947). He died on 22 August 2001 in Sanibel, Florida, US.
