He is a Canadian-British blogger, writer, and actor. He was born on July 17, 1971, in Toronto, Canada. He worked as a co-editor of the blog Boing Boing. He is known for Soviet Unterzoegersdorf: Sector 2 (2009), Silicon Valley (2019), and Hello from the Magic Tavern (2017-2020). He is married to Alice Taylor. He received the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, the Sunburst Award, and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for his novel "Little Brother."
