A British producer, writer, and director, born on July 9, 1949, in Wirral, England, United Kingdom, s Nigel Bruce Lythgoe. He was a former dancer and choreographer. He was the producer of Pop Idol and American Idol. His works include So You Think You Can Dance (2005-2014), American Idol (2002-2014), and Gladiators (1992-1999). He was previously married to Bonnie Lythgoe.
