An American actor, born in Horan, North Dakota, USA, on February 11, 1915, as Charles Woodrow Tolkien. He married Martha (1940-2004) and had 3 children with her. He is known for Radar Men from the Moon (1952), Singin' in the Rain (1952), Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952), and Billy Rose's Jumbo (1962). He appeared in supporting roles in film and on television. He made his debut in Two Sisters from Boston (1946) and his final role was in It Happened at the World's Fair (1963). He died in Culver City, California, USA, on October 23, 2004.
