An American actress, born on May 24, 1947, in Los Angeles County, California, USA. She attended Indian Hills High School. She has outstanding contributions to volunteer work. In addition to being an actress, she is also a teacher and has been awarded the UCLA Teacher of the Year for her work with at-risk youth. Avila participated in the series ER and Dangerous Minds, as well as the short film Eye Chart.
