A British writer, born on February 16, 1904, in Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. In 1945, he left his position as director of advertising and publicity for United Artists and turned to screenwriting. His works include The Gamma People (1956), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964), and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955). He married once. He died on August 23, 1964, in Hollywood, California, USA.
