British actor and singer, born on June 24, 1944, in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England, UK. He was the lead singer of the rock groups The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Kingdom Come. He won the Showman of the Year Award from Classic Rock magazine. He is known for Hot Fuzz (2007), The Boat That Rocked (2009), and Tommy (1975).
