A Canadian-American actor, born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on November 8, 1882. He married actress Lela Bliss (1924-1955), they had two children, and Lela remained with him until his death. Among his most important works are Hail the Conquering Hero (1944), Two Sisters from Boston (1946), The Velvet Touch (1948), and Good Sam (1948). Harry Hayden was prolific in film and television. He also worked on stage and directed one play on Broadway. He died at the age of 72 in West Los Angeles, California, USA, on July 24, 1955.
