An American actress, born in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, USA, on July 14, 1879, as Laura Hardage Butler. She married twice and had no children. She is known for Queen of the Mob (1940), Nobody's Baby (1937), Bringing Up Father (1946), and Five Little Peppers at Home (1940). Laura provided many supporting roles as a nurse, mother, socialite, widow, and many others. She died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 22, 1960.
