German director and actor, born on December 12, 1975, in Stockach, Southern Germany. He is of Turkish descent. He founded his film production company, Macchiato Pictures. He received many awards such as the UNICEF Award and the Humanitarian Award. He is known for Hakim (2008) and Nicht schon wieder Rudi! (2015).
