A Canadian actress, born in Ontario, Canada, on August 11, 1898, as Ellen Crotty. Among her most important works are Rosie the Riveter (1944), King of Burlesque (1936), Open Secret (1948), and The Late Christopher Bean (1933). Ellen Lowe worked in American cinema and provided supporting and minor roles. She made her debut in Christopher Bean (1933), while her last appearance was in two episodes of the TV series The United States Steel Hour (1957-1958). Ellen Lowe passed away at the age of 86 in Los Angeles, California, USA, on September 8, 1984.
