An American actress, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, on August 3, 1908. She married twice and had one child. She is known for Adventures of Superman (1952), The Rawhide Terror (1934), Miss Sadie Thompson (1953), and Thunder (1929), which was her movie debut. Frances presented in the cinema supporting roles as a nurse, receptionist, secretary, waitress, and others. Her last appearance was in the TV series The Virginian (1963-1964). She died in Santa Clarita, California, USA, on December 2, 2003.
