A Canadian actress, writer, and director, born on March 18, 1968, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She studied law and attended the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal. She directed and wrote the documentary Over My Dead Body (2012), which won the Jutra Award for Best Documentary. She also co-wrote the TV special Spectacle de la Fête Nationale: Québec 2014 and served as a choreographer on My Salinger Year (2020). In 2018, she got nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Les affamés (2017). Poupart was honored by Association Femmes Monde à Paris and the Académie des lettres du Québec for her career.
