An American actress, born in Croswell, Michigan, USA, on September 24, 1889. She is known for Soylent Green (1973), Junior Prom (1946), High Plains Drifter (1973) and The Mark of Zorro (1940). Belle acted in many silent films, then joined the introduction of sound into movies. Her career lasted 6 decades, where she provided supporting roles that included the roles of a maid, foreign lady and party guest. She died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 12, 1979.
