A Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist, born on April 22, 1870, in Simbirsk, Russian Empire, as Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov. Lenin served as the first and founding head of the government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. He attended Saint Petersburg University's Law School, graduating in 1891. He encouraged supporters in the UK to support the Labour Party. He died on January 21, 1924, in Gorki, Moscow Governorate, Soviet Union. His credits include Monquatorze (2010) and The Fall of the Romanov Dynasty (1927).
