British actress, born in London, on April 17, 1895 as Beatrice Sylvia Bird. She was married to actor Gibson Gowland (1914-1918) and they had a child before they got divorced. She worked in the American cinema mainly providing supporting roles such as cleaner, florist, cook, secretary, and others. Her works, include: The Courageous Dr. Christian (1940), Three Came Home (1950), and The Small Magnetic Hand (1916). She died on March 31, 1959 in Santa Monica, California.
