An American actor, diplomat, and society figure, born in Horgen, Switzerland, on April 25, 1898. He married three times and had a child. He is known for Abie's Irish Rose (1946), Women in the Night (1948), and Avalanche (1946). Harry was a member of the American Olympic bobsled team for two years. He graduated from Columbia University in 1919 and joined the diplomatic service. He began acting in 1943 and provided supporting roles as a janitor, Nazi officer, doctor, and many more. He died in Barcelona, Spain, on July 1, 1983.
