A Canadian-American actress, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as Mary June Storey. She had three husbands and two children. Among her works are Dangerous Lady (1941), The Strange Woman (1946), Ride, Tenderfoot, Ride (1940), and Sentiment and Song (1945). Storey moved to the United States with her parents, when she was five years old, and the family finally settled in California. She graduated from Laguna Beach High School, switched to the local theater, won a contract with the Fox Corporation, and took dance lessons. She presented several films before contracting with Republic. From 1946 to 1949, she appeared in minor roles, and in 1950, she had an accident, but after a year, she recovered and was able to walk on her feet. She devoted her life to charity, then became a deacon in the church before she died in Vista, California, USA, on December 18, 1991, of cancer.
