British actress, born in Yorkshire, England, on January 8, 1872 as Thomasina Elizabeth Beilby. She worked in the theater before working in the cinema. She made her cinematic debut when she was sixty years old with the movie If I Had a Million (1932). She provided supporting roles such as mother, widow and maid. She concluded her work with the movie The Secret Fury (1950). Among her important works is Fugitive Road (1934). She died in California, USA on October 14, 1958.
