An Italian actress, born as Anna Maria Proclemer in Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. She made her stage debut in 1942, at the Rome University Theatre with the play "Our Goddess." In 1976, she was nominated for the Silver Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actress, presented by the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists, for her role in Illustrious Corpses. The Syndicate gave her an Honorary Ribbon in 2012. In 1946, she married writer Vitaliano Brancati, with whom she had one daughter, actress Antonia Brancati. Her credits include Journey to Italy (1954) and L'idiota (1959). She died on April 25, 2013, in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
