An American actor, born on December 5, 1878, in Ridgeway, Ohio, USA, as Frank Herman LaRue. He was a prolific American film actor; he starred in about 200 films, mostly westerns, in supporting roles. He is known for The Shadow (1940), The Cyclone Kid (1942), and Flying Devils (1933). He married four times and had one child. He passed away at the age of 81 from a heart attack on September 26, 1960, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
