American actress born on Clarksdale, Mississippi, US on 5 December 1920. She graduated from the University of Tennessee and began her career as a model until she signed with Fox. Her works include The Inner Circle (1946) and All About Alfred (1998). She played uncredited roles such as a secretary and a showgirl. She married twice and had five children. She died on 9 May 2005 in Pacific Palisades, California, US.
