An American actor, born in Edinburgh, Illinois, USA, as George Harrington Lloyd. He served as a staff sergeant during World War I, and in the late 1920s, he had his own vaudeville troupe. He was a prolific actor, as he worked in cinema and vaudeville theater, and most of his cinematic works were American westerns. He is known for Idol of the Crowds (1937), A Slight Case of Murder (1938), and Frisco Sal (1945). He died of arteriosclerosis on August 15, 1967, in West Los Angeles, California, USA.
