She was an American actress, born on March 22, 1921, in Roberts, Illinois, USA, as Mary Ellen Gleason. She was Hollywood's "golden girl," having played a variety of roles over the course of a decade. She is known for The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1957). She was married to Frank Langone. She passed away at the age of 76 on February 18, 1998, in Riverside, California, USA.
