He was an American actor, born on September 8, 1901, in Portland, Indiana, USA, as Kenneth Royce Dollins. He launched his career as a stage actor in the 20s and headed to Hollywood in the early 30s. His acting career spanned five decades, during which he provided supporting and additional roles. He excelled in comedic roles in short films, especially with The Three Stooges, and appeared in many roles until the early 1950s, when he worked on TV series. He is known for his roles in The Ten Commandments (1956), Before I Hang (1940), and Black Arrow (1944). He was married to LaMee Kathryn Nave, with whom he had three children. He died at the age of 70 on May 5, 1972, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, from brain and lung cancer.
