He was a Canadian actor, born on January 25, 1923, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His four siblings are all actors. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles. He learned photography from his mother and was assigned as a photographer at his army base in Santa Ana, CA. Later, he worked as a photographer at Rocketdyne until retiring as the director of the photo department at Gilfillan-ITT. He is known for his appearances in The Major and the Minor (1942), Mighty Joe Young (1949), and I Married a Witch (1942). He was married to Virginia, with whom he had three children. He died at the age of 70 on May 14, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
