She is a Canadian-born American actress and writer, born in Toronto, Canada. She attended the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she received classical and conservatory training in voice, movement, combat, and text. She participated in Shameless (2014), Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015), and Bosch (2017-2021). She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2013 Chicago Horror Film Festival.
