An American actor and stunt performer, born on May 18, 1911, in New York City, New York, USA. He is considered to be one of the oldest stunt performers in the film industry. The Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures and the Screen Actors Guild were both founded by him. He appeared in both TV and cinematic productions, where he played different supporting and additional roles. He is known for The Blues Brothers (1980), Runaway Train (1985), and Wild at Heart (1990). He died at the age of 89 from cancer on March 15, 2000, in North Hollywood, California, USA.
