German actor and producer, born on January 10, 1968, in Bremen, Germany. He was raised in London, England. He started his artistic career in 1998 when he made his screen debut in the movie Der Eisbär. In the field of production, he began his first experience by producing the movie The Aryan Couple (2004). He also participated in the production of famous films such as Hachi: A Dog's Tale, The Smurfs, and Men in Black 3. He was the head of the 2013, 2014, and 2015 Sun Valley Film Festival Judges Panel. He got married to Lisa Scott Firestone on February 19, 2011.
