Peruvian-American actor, born in Arica, Peru, on March 19, 1894. He was married to the actress Greta Meyer. He is known for Romance in the Dark (1938), Lancer Spy (1937), and Little Man, What Now? (1934). He played the role of a Mexican, a judge, a policeman, a butler, and others. He began his artistic career with theatrical work in vaudeville theaters. He looked much older than he really was, and thus played the role of an old man in his first Hollywood movie, Viva Villa! (1934). He died in Encino, California, USA, on October 30, 1939.
