Taiwanese writer, born on August 24, 1955, in Taipei, Taiwan, as Tao Te-san. He started his career by co-writing the movie Trouble Maker (1995). He is known for Red Cliff (2008), The Rules of the Game (2002), and Trouble Maker (1995).
