English actor, producer, writer, and presenter, born in Wimbledon, London, England, United Kingdom. He attended three schools in Ireland: St Gerard's School, St Oliver Plunkett Primary School, and St. Kilian's German School. He got married to Olivia "Olly" Boorman in 1990 and they have two children. He made his acting debut in the movie Deliverance (1972). His credits include Excalibur (1981), The Emerald Forest (1985), and Mister Frost (1990).
