An American actor, born in New York State, USA, on November 16, 1918, as Gilbert Stanley Fried. His career spanned nearly 4 decades, in which he provided supporting and additional roles such as the drunkard, the man in the city, the soldier, the secretary, and others. He is known for G-Men Never Forget (1948), Song of My Heart (1948), and The Bride and the Beast (1958). He died in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on July 2, 2000.
