An English film and television actor, born in Wandsworth, London, England, UK. Although born in London, he held Canadian citizenship. He played American and Canadian characters in British and American films. He was married to Anita D’Allaire. Among his notable works are Meet the Navy (1946), Danger Man (1960), and Patton (1970). He died in England, UK on September 26, 2006, at age 91.
