An English footballer and former coach, born in England, UK. He won five major trophies including the 1977–78 Football League title, the 1978–79 European Cup, and the 1979–80 European Cup, playing for Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest Football Club. He made his debut for England in November 1978, in a friendly match against Czechoslovakia. Anderson became the second non-white footballer to represent the men's senior England team after Paul Reaney. He played for the Nottingham Forest team that won three European Cup titles in four years. Anderson played in 80 matches for England and participated in the 1982 World Cup and the 1986 World Cup. His credits include I Believe in Miracles (2015).
