An American actor, born in Bangor, Pennsylvania, USA. He married actress Julia Faye in 1935 and divorced her after 6 months. His most notable works include Parlor, Bedroom and Bath (1931), Justice Takes a Holiday (1933), While London Sleeps (1926), and Below the Deadline (1929). He was an American film and television actor and writer who witnessed the end of silent cinema and transitioned smoothly to the sound era. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, at the age of 78.
