An Egyptian director, who completed a year-long study of directing at the New York Film Academy. She also obtained a master’s degree in film production and directing from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where she focused on studying writing and directing. She has a background in finance and business development, as she holds a master’s degree in public administration from the London School of Economics, and she worked as a director of development for films and series at the MiM and Film Clinic companies. Her short film The Interview is her first directorial work.
