A South Korean actress, born in Daegu, South Korea. She is the eldest of three children of her family who immigrated to Japan when Kim was in middle school. She lived most of her teenage years in Tokyo, Japan, before moving to the United States to study at Ball State University in Indiana, where she was a Piano major, and then took up acting. Her credits include Nae ireumeun Kim Sam-soon (2005), Scent of a Woman (2011) and Secret Boutique (2019).
