An Australian actor and screenwriter, born on September 4, 1959, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. His daughter is actress Megan Harrington. He co-wrote several episodes of the series Eric as well as All Together Now. He was nominated for the AFI Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2004 for his role in The Honourable Wally Norman. He is also known for The Dish (2000), Blue Heelers (1994), and SeaChange (1998).
