An American actor, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, USA, as Glenn Vernon. He married actress Joy Rogers, who remained with him until her death in 1998. Among his most important works are Bedlam (1946), Impact (1949), Melody Maker (1946), and So I Married an Ax Murderer (1993). Glen Vernon was a character film, television, and theater actor. He participated at the beginning of his career as a young star in vaudeville and Broadway theaters, then as a singer and dancer during the war period, and in films, he played short roles with singing and dancing stars after the war in musical, drama, and comedy films. Later, he worked in many television shows. He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on October 27, 1999, of a brain stroke, at the age of 76.
