American actor, born on March 15, 1907, in Wheaton, Illinois, USA, as Paul Regan Maxey. He participated in many crime films in cinema and television. He is known for The Narrow Margin (1952), The People's Choice (1955), and Till the Clouds Roll By (1946). He was married to Jean R. Maxey, who stayed with him until his death. He died on June 3, 1963, in Pasadena, California, USA, due to a heart attack.
