An American journalist and broadcaster, born in Florida, USA. He holds a BA in History and Asian Studies and attended the Sino-Soviet Institute at George Washington University in the United States. Jim began his freelance career in the early 1970s and joined NBC News in Saigon to cover the wars in Vietnam and Cambodia. He appeared in the documentary Last Days in Vietnam.
