American actor and musician, born in Independence, Kansas, United States. When he was four, he was a gifted trumpet player, and by the time he was eight, he had played in several musical productions. He joined the Bowery Boys movie series after the war, but he quit the show in 1955 to retire and pursue a career as a real estate agent. Among his most notable works are Hold That Baby! (1949), Loose in London (1953), Hold That Line (1952), and Private Eyes (1953). He died in Redding, California, United States, on December 26, 1999, at the age of 75.
