An American actor and musician, born on August 17, 1916, in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. He is known for The Name of the Game (1968), Marcus Welby, M.D (1969), and McCloud (1970). He was educated at Stanford University. He worked on radio, and his radio career spanned 26 years. He also served in the armed forces during World War II and worked in the American Forces Network. He died on May 15, 2007, in Los Angeles, California, USA., at the age of 92.
