An Italian actress, born in Treviso, Italy. She obtained a degree in arts before beginning her career on stage in the 1920s after joining a theater company. She appeared in her first film Freccia d'oro (1935), in which she met actor Ennio Cerlesi, who a year later would become her husband and frequent partner on stage. Starting in the 1940s, she began a busy film career. She played maternal roles repeatedly, and her credits include Viva il cinema! (1952) and La canzone del cuore (1955). She died on March 7, 1986.
