A Czech actress, born in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic) to actor and puppeteer Josef Pehr, and an artist and puppeteer mother. She spent her childhood with her mother and grandmother, and she studied at the High School of Arts and Industry. Jana specialized in graphics and monumental painting, then graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague, and participated in art exhibitions. She appeared in many works, such as Príbeh ‘88 and Hezké chvilky bez záruky.
